Welcome to Kender
Kender Community Primary School
Our school is a fully inclusive community primary school, judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted (2011), catering for pupils between 3-11 years old. Kender is part of Lewisham Authority, and has places for 210 full time pupils and 40 Nursery pupils.
We are proud of our ‘caring ethos that permeates all aspects of school life’ with children that ‘are valued and cherished as individuals’. ‘This is a very community-focused school. Every child and their family is treated and cared for with respect.’
At Kender we aim to provide quality education for all children, encouraging a trusting, caring partnership between home and school. We strive to achieve high standards in all areas of children’s learning, delivering a ‘dynamic curriculum’ (Ofsted 2010) and ensuring each child makes the very best of their time in school.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
